चातुराश्रमशैथिल्ये धर्मः प्रतिचलिष्यति अरक्षितारो हर्तारो बलिभागस्य पार्थिवाः
Transliteration
cāturāśramaśaithilye dharmaḥ praticaliṣyati arakṣitāro hartāro balibhāgasya pārthivāḥ
Translation
ਜਦੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਆਸ਼ਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਢਿੱਲੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਧਰਮ ਡੋਲਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜੇ—ਜੋ ਰੱਖਿਆਕ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ—ਅਰੱਖਿਆਕ ਤੇ ਲੁਟੇਰੇ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਬਲੀ-ਭਾਗ (ਕਰ/ਭੇਟ) ਹੜਪ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
