मायाभिरुत्सिसृप्सत इन्द्र द्यामारुरुक्षतः । अव दस्यूंरधूनुथाः
IAST Transliteration
māyā́bhir utsí-sṛpsata índra dyā́m ārúrukṣataḥ | áva dasyū́n adhūnuthāḥ ||
English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)
With stratagems, O Indra, those that were creeping forth, those that would climb to heaven—thou didst shake the Dasyus downward and away.
Translation
ਮਾਇਆਵਾਂ (ਯੁਕਤੀਆਂ) ਨਾਲ, ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਜੋ ਬਾਹਰ ਰੇਂਗ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ—ਤੂੰ ਦਸਯੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਹਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਦੂਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
