ततः शुल्बकाकण्युत्तरापसारिता आचतुःसीमान्तादिति षोडश वर्णकाः ॥ कZ_०२.१३.१६ ॥

Transliteration

tataḥ śulbakākaṇyuttarāpasāritā ācatuḥsīmāntāditi ṣoḍaśa varṇakāḥ

Translation

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ (ਦਰਜੇ) ‘ਸ਼ੁਲਬ-ਮਿਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਕਣੀ-ਮਿਆਰ ਤੱਕ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਚਾਰ-ਹੱਦ-ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ’ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ—ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਣਕ (ਰੰਗ/ਪਰਖ-ਦਰਜੇ) ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
