Concept: Ritual geometry and color as carriers of meaning (bhū-tattva/varṇa correspondence) in applied sacred design.
Application: Follow color prescriptions to avoid ‘doṣa’ in yantra construction; use stable pigments and clear concentric boundaries for legibility and ritual correctness.

Sandhi Resolution Notes: कृष्णवर्णरेखा → कृष्ण-वर्ण-रेखा; वर्णानेवं → वर्णान् एवम्. ‘मध्येतरेमरे’ is taken as मध्ये तरे मरे (textual segmentation uncertain; may reflect a corrupt/variant reading).
Related Themes: Agni Purana 305 (cakra-yantra construction and subsequent homa placement)
It teaches color-coding and layout rules for drawing a ritual/architectural chakra-yantra: a white rim, an outer black line, and an earth-toned band, forming two concentric wheel-diagrams.
Beyond myth and devotion, it preserves practical technical standards—diagram construction, materials/elemental color conventions, and precise drafting instructions used in Vāstu, temple-ritual layouts, and yantra/maṇḍala traditions.
Correctly drawn and color-consecrated diagrams are traditionally held to make a rite effective and orderly, aligning the ritual space with elemental principles (earth/black/white) and thereby supporting purity, focus, and intended merit (puṇya).
