Related Themes: Agni Purana 292 (mantra-siddhi and ritual means)
It teaches the practical method of attaining mantra-siddhi: systematic preparation/arrangement of Siddha-type rites and the attainment of perfection through japa (repetition), pūjā (worship), and huta/homa (fire-offerings), along with allied observances.
It exemplifies the Agni Purāṇa’s manual-like coverage of applied ritual technology—codifying how spiritual results (siddhi) are operationally pursued through repeatable procedures (japa–pūjā–homa), alongside its many other domains such as polity, medicine, and aesthetics.
It frames siddhi as the fruit of disciplined, meritorious practice—regular japa, worship, and sacrificial offering—implying purification, accumulation of religious merit, and the maturation of spiritual capability when the mantra becomes “perfected.”
