Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Mṛtyuñjayeśvara (near Sāgarāditya)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: A pilgrim stands before Mṛtyuñjayeśvara after passing the Sāgarāditya marker; the act of seeing and touching the liṅga is shown as washing away dark stains (sins) into light.
Sacred contact is emphasized: darśana and sparśana at a holy shrine are portrayed as tangible means of purification.
The Mṛtyuñjayeśvara-liṅga area within Prabhāsa Kṣetra, referenced relative to Sāgarāditya.
Perform darśana and, where appropriate, reverent sparśana; the verse also gives the navigation detail (west of Sāgarāditya, four dhanu away).
