ଏହିପରି ଶ୍ରୀସ୍କନ୍ଦ ମହାପୁରାଣର ଏକାଶୀତି-ସାହସ୍ରୀ ସଂହିତାର ସପ୍ତମ ପ୍ରଭାସଖଣ୍ଡର ପ୍ରଥମ ପ୍ରଭାସକ୍ଷେତ୍ରମାହାତ୍ମ୍ୟରେ ‘ସାନ୍ନିହିତ୍ୟାମାହାତ୍ମ୍ୟବର୍ଣ୍ଣନ’ ନାମକ ପଞ୍ଚାଶୀତମ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟ ସମାପ୍ତ ହେଲା।
