ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि यथा पूज्यतमो हि सः । कपर्द्दी सर्वदेवानामाद्यो विघ्नेश्वरः प्रभुः

ଈଶ୍ୱର କହିଲେ—ହେ ଦେବୀ, ଶୁଣ; ସେ କିପରି ସର୍ବାଧିକ ପୂଜ୍ୟ, ତାହା ମୁଁ କହିବି। କପର୍ଦ୍ଦୀ ସମସ୍ତ ଦେବମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆଦ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭୁ ବିଘ୍ନେଶ୍ୱର।
