एतत्ते सर्वमाख्यातं यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि । तच्छ्रुत्वा सा विशालाक्षी त्रपयाऽधो मुखी तथा । आसीत्तूष्णीं तदा देवी श्रुत्वा वाक्यं च तादृशम्
etatte sarvamākhyātaṃ yanmāṃ tvaṃ paripṛcchasi | tacchrutvā sā viśālākṣī trapayā'dho mukhī tathā | āsīttūṣṇīṃ tadā devī śrutvā vākyaṃ ca tādṛśam
‘ତୁମେ ଯାହା ମୋତେ ପଚାରିଥିଲ, ସେ ସବୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ କହିଦେଲି।’ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ସେ ବିଶାଳନୟନୀ ଲଜ୍ଜାରେ ମୁହଁ ନମାଇଲା; ଏପରି ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ରାଣୀଦେବୀ ସେତେବେଳେ ନୀରବ ରହିଲା।
