Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Taptodaka-svāmin tīrtha
Type: kund
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva narrates to Devī: from the elevated Vināyaka spot, three yojanas north lies a steaming hot-water tīrtha where an ancient foe named Talu was slain.
Sacred geography is mapped as a dharmic itinerary: knowing and approaching consecrated places is itself presented as part of pilgrimage discipline.
Taptodaka tīrtha and its presiding deity, Taptodakasvāmi/Talasvāmi, within Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
No direct rite is prescribed here; the verse gives location and mythic identification of the site.
