amīṣāmapi śastrāṇā muttamaṃ vajramiṣyate | taddhāraṇādyato'smākaṃ devarājatvamiṣyate
Śakra (Indra)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis (Naimiṣāraṇya-style audience, typical)
Scene: Indra (Śakra) in a celestial court, holding or contemplating the vajra, speaking of its preeminence among weapons; devas assembled, aura of sovereignty and storm-light.
Power and rulership are portrayed as dependent on divinely sanctioned instruments used in the service of protection, not ego.
The verse occurs within the Prabhāsa-kṣetra Māhātmya’s narrative flow, though it discusses cosmic weaponry rather than local rites.
None; it is a statement of symbolic theology about the vajra and Indra’s office.
