atrānnaṃ saṃpradāsyaṃti brāhmaṇebhyaḥ samā hitāḥ | sarvayajñaphalaṃ teṣāṃ bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ
Devas (collectively), stating dāna-phala (fruit of charity)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (general tīrtha context within Prabhāsakṣetra-māhātmya)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Pilgrims in Prabhāsa-kṣetra offer cooked rice, ghee, and fruits to seated Brāhmaṇas under a coastal sky; a shrine silhouette suggests Somnātha/Prabhāsa sanctity; hands in añjali, vessels of food, and calm devotional faces.
Feeding the worthy at a holy place is exalted as a comprehensive spiritual act, equated with the merit of many sacrifices.
The same Prabhāsa-kṣetra tīrtha being praised in Adhyāya 258 (contextually Śaśāpāna and its vicinity).
Annadāna—offering food to Brāhmaṇas at the tīrtha.
