त्विषिमान्धर्मपुत्रस्तु सोमो देवो वरस्तु सः । शीतरश्मिः समुत्पन्नः कृत्तिकासु निशाचरः
tviṣimāndharmaputrastu somo devo varastu saḥ | śītaraśmiḥ samutpannaḥ kṛttikāsu niśācaraḥ
ସୋମ ତେଜସ୍ବୀ—ଧର୍ମଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଦେବତା। ଶୀତଳ କିରଣଧାରୀ ସେ କୃତ୍ତିକାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ରାତିରେ ବିଚରଣକାରୀ ହେଲେ।
