न भक्ष्यास्तावत्ते देवि यावद्गौरीव्रतं चरेत् । तस्याः पुण्यफलं वक्ष्ये कथ्यमानं शृणुष्व मे

Transliteration

na bhakṣyāstāvatte devi yāvadgaurīvrataṃ caret | tasyāḥ puṇyaphalaṃ vakṣye kathyamānaṃ śṛṇuṣva me

Translation

ହେ ଦେବି! ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗୌରୀବ୍ରତ ଆଚରଣ ହୁଏ, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ। ଏବେ ମୁଁ ସେ ବ୍ରତର ପୁଣ୍ୟଫଳ କହୁଛି—ମୋ କଥା ଶୁଣ।
