अस्मिन्मन्वन्तरे क्षिप्तः सागरैश्च चतुर्दिशम् । तस्येदं कीर्तितं देवि नाम सागरसंज्ञितम्

Transliteration

asminmanvantare kṣiptaḥ sāgaraiśca caturdiśam | tasyedaṃ kīrtitaṃ devi nāma sāgarasaṃjñitam

Translation

ହେ ଦେବୀ, ଏହି ମନ୍ୱନ୍ତରେ ସେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଶାରେ ସାଗରମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା କ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରସାରିତ ହେଲେ; ତେଣୁ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ‘ସାଗର’ ନାମରେ କୀର୍ତ୍ତିତ।
