Transliteration

yugeyuge śodhayettāṃstena kaṃṭakaśodhinī | āśvayukchuklapakṣe tu navamyāṃ tāmathārcayet

Translation

ଯୁଗେ ଯୁଗେ ସେ ସେହି ‘କଣ୍ଟକ’ ସଦୃଶ ଉପଦ୍ରବମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୋଧନ କରି ଦୂର କରନ୍ତି; ତେଣୁ ସେ ‘କଣ୍ଟକଶୋଧିନୀ’ ନାମେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ। ଆଶ୍ୱୟୁଜ ମାସର ଶୁକ୍ଳପକ୍ଷ ନବମୀ ତିଥିରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ତିସହ ଅର୍ଚ୍ଚନା କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
