vighnamācarate yastu dvārakāṃ prati gacchatām | narake majjate mūḍhaḥ kalpamātraṃ tu raurave
Sūta (deduced; Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa narrative style)
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Scene: A stark moral tableau: pilgrims walking toward Dvārakā while a malicious figure blocks the path; below, a dark vision of Raurava naraka with torment imagery, contrasted with the bright pilgrimage road.
Harming or hindering pilgrimage is treated as grave adharma with severe karmic consequences.
Dvārakā; the verse protects the sanctity of travel to Kṛṣṇa’s sacred city.
A negative injunction: do not create vighna (obstructions) for pilgrims; instead, one should support their yātrā.
