Skanda (deduced: Prabhāsa-khaṇḍa, Dvārakā-māhātmya narration style)
Tirtha: Dvārakā (Dvāravatī)
Type: kshetra
Listener: King (bhūbhṛt/bhūbhip)
Scene: A night-long vigil in Dvārakā: devotees remain awake with lamps, chanting and singing; the sea glimmers; the temple stands radiant; dawn suggests ‘daily fruit’ for residents.
Vigil and sustained sacred living intensify spiritual merit; holy residence itself becomes a daily sādhanā.
Dvārakā is praised as a place where mere residence yields recurring spiritual fruit.
Jāgara—keeping a religious vigil—is recommended as a practice that multiplies puṇya.
