एवं शप्ता तदा देवी रुदोदातीव विह्वला । उवाच कृष्णं करुणं कथं स्थास्ये त्वया विना
evaṃ śaptā tadā devī rudodātīva vihvalā | uvāca kṛṣṇaṃ karuṇaṃ kathaṃ sthāsye tvayā vinā
ଏଭଳି ଶପ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଦେବୀ, ଯେନେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରେ କାନ୍ଦୁଥିବା ପରି କମ୍ପିତ ଓ ବିହ୍ୱଳ ହୋଇ, କରୁଣାମୟ କୃଷ୍ଣଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ—“ତୁମ ବିନା ମୁଁ ଏଠାରେ କିପରି ରହିବି?”
