Śrī Bhagavān (Śiva, contextually)
Tirtha: Bhadrakarṇa-hrada
Type: kund
Listener: Bhadrakarṇa (and by extension pilgrims)
Scene: A pilgrim bathes in the calm Bhadrakarṇa Lake at dawn or moonlit Māgha night, then sits in meditation before a liṅga, worshiping the Three-eyed Lord; a visionary glimpse of Śiva’s abode appears as a luminous realm.
Purity of place and purity of mind together—tīrtha-bathing plus focused devotion—lead toward Śiva-realization and liberation.
Bhadrakarṇa Hrada (the sacred lake) on Arbuda.
Snāna (bathing) at the lake and worship/meditation on Trinetra (Śiva) with a composed mind.
