वह्निरुवाच । अभक्ष्यभक्षणे शक्रो मामिच्छति नियोजितुम् । तेनैव न करोत्येष वृष्टिं मर्त्त्ये सुरेश्वरः
vahniruvāca | abhakṣyabhakṣaṇe śakro māmicchati niyojitum | tenaiva na karotyeṣa vṛṣṭiṃ marttye sureśvaraḥ
ଅଗ୍ନି କହିଲେ— ଶକ୍ର ମୋତେ ଅଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଭକ୍ଷଣରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛନ୍ତି। ସେହି କାରଣରୁ ଏହି ସୁରେଶ୍ୱର ମର୍ତ୍ୟଲୋକରେ ବୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁନାହାନ୍ତି।
