वत्स उवाच । अहं तत्र गमिष्यामि यत्र त्वं गंतुमिच्छसि । श्लाघ्यं हि मरणं मेऽद्य त्वया सह न संशयः
vatsa uvāca | ahaṃ tatra gamiṣyāmi yatra tvaṃ gaṃtumicchasi | ślāghyaṃ hi maraṇaṃ me'dya tvayā saha na saṃśayaḥ
ବତ୍ସ କହିଲା—ତୁମେ ଯେଉଁଠାକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ସେଠାକୁ ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯିବି। ଆଜି ତୁମ ସହ ମରିବା ମୋ ପାଇଁ ଶ୍ଲାଘ୍ୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ; ଏଥିରେ ସନ୍ଦେହ ନାହିଁ।
