स्मरंती गोकुले बद्धं स्वसुतं क्षीरपायिनम् । दुःखेन रुदतीं तां स दृष्ट्वोवाच मृगाधिपः

Transliteration

smaraṃtī gokule baddhaṃ svasutaṃ kṣīrapāyinam | duḥkhena rudatīṃ tāṃ sa dṛṣṭvovāca mṛgādhipaḥ

Translation

ଗୋକୁଳରେ ବାନ୍ଧା ଓ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କ୍ଷୀରପାନ କରୁଥିବା ନିଜ ବଛଡ଼ାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ସେ ଦୁଃଖରେ କାନ୍ଦିଲା। ତାକୁ କାନ୍ଦୁଥିବା ଦେଖି ମୃଗାଧିପତି ବ୍ୟାଘ୍ର କହିଲା।
