Dūta (Messenger)
Tirtha: Arbuda (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Bāṣkali (dānava)
Scene: The messenger delivers a reverential hymn-like introduction of Devī—pure, smiling, all-pervading Śakti—before stating her command; the asura listens, the atmosphere charged with sacred authority.
The Goddess is presented as immanent (all-pervading) and transcendent (supreme), the very Śakti sustaining gods and worlds.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; it functions as Devī-stuti within the Arbuda-khaṇḍa narrative context.
Implicitly, worship (ārādhana) of the Goddess by the devas is referenced, but no specific rite is prescribed.
