tavāstu satataṃ cātra sāṃnidhyaṃ saha bhāryayā | evamuktaḥ sa tenātha vipraṃ prati vacobravīt
Īśvara (Śiva) (implied assent and continuation of dialogue)
Tirtha: Paṅgu-tīrtha (contextual)
Type: ghat
Listener: Paṅgu (directly); king remains implied listener in frame
Scene: Śiva grants the boon with ‘tathāstu’ and declares continual presence with his consort; the atmosphere settles into certainty and sanctity.
A sacred place becomes supremely holy when the deity promises continual presence there.
Paṃgu Tīrtha, where Śiva affirms abiding sāṃnidhya with his consort.
No direct prescription; it establishes the site’s sanctity through divine residence.
