Ambārīṣa
Listener: Bhagavān (Viṣṇu)
Scene: Ambārīṣa, earnest and concerned, admits the difficulty of the detailed yoga for ordinary people in Kali-yuga, appealing to the Lord’s compassion.
Practices may be lofty, but the Kali age demands compassion and accessibility in spiritual instruction.
No specific tīrtha is named in this verse; it is part of the Arbuda-khaṇḍa narrative setting.
None directly; the verse prepares for a shift from jñānayoga to a more practicable discipline.
