नास्ति मातृसमो बन्धुर्बालानां क्षीरजीविनाम् । नास्ति मातृसमो नाथो नास्ति मातृसमा गतिः
nāsti mātṛsamo bandhurbālānāṃ kṣīrajīvinām | nāsti mātṛsamo nātho nāsti mātṛsamā gatiḥ
କ୍ଷୀରରେ ଜୀବନ ଧାରଣ କରୁଥିବା ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମାଆ ସମ ଆତ୍ମୀୟ ନାହିଁ; ମାଆ ସମ ରକ୍ଷକ ନାହିଁ; ମାଆ ସମ ଶରଣ-ଗତି ମଧ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ।
