उपकारिषु यः साधुः साधुत्वे तस्य को गुणः । अपकारिषु यः साधुः कीर्त्यते जनैः
upakāriṣu yaḥ sādhuḥ sādhutve tasya ko guṇaḥ | apakāriṣu yaḥ sādhuḥ kīrtyate janaiḥ
ଯେ ଉପକାର କରୁଥିବାମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମାତ୍ର ସଜ୍ଜନ, ତାହାର ସଜ୍ଜନତାରେ ବିଶେଷ ଗୁଣ କ’ଣ? କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେ ଅପକାର କରୁଥିବାମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମଧ୍ୟ ସଜ୍ଜନ ରହେ, ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଶଂସିତ ହୁଏ।
