Transliteration

apatyavikrayī kalpaṃ vasedviṭkṛmibhojane | ato nāṇvapi kanyāyā upajīvetpitā dhanam

Translation

ଯେ ନିଜ ସନ୍ତାନକୁ ବିକ୍ରୟ କରେ, ସେ ମଳ ଓ କୃମି ଭୋଜନ କରିବାକୁ ପଡୁଥିବା ନରକରେ ଏକ କଳ୍ପ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବସେ। ତେଣୁ କନ୍ୟା ଠାରୁ ମିଳିଥିବା ଅଣୁମାତ୍ର ଧନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପିତା ଜୀବିକା ଚାଲାଇବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।
