नरा गौरेव विद्युतं तृषाणास्माकमद्य सवनोप यातम् । पुरुत्रा हि वां मतिभिर्हवन्ते मा वामन्ये नि यमन्देवयन्तः ॥

nárā gauréva vidyútaṃ tṛṣāṇā́smā́kam adyá savanópa yātam | purutrā́ hí vām matíbhiḥ hávante mā́ vām anyé ní yamann deva-yántaḥ ||

ହେ ନରା (ଅଶ୍ୱିନୌ), ଗୌର (ବଳଦ)ର ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍-ଚମକ ପରି ତୃଷିତ ହୋଇ ଆଜି ଆମ ସବନ (ସୋମ-ପୀଡନ)କୁ ଆସ। କାରଣ ବହୁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲୋକେ ମତିଭିଃ (ଚିନ୍ତା/ସ୍ତୁତିଦ୍ୱାରା) ତୁମକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରନ୍ତି; ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବୟନ୍ତ (ଦେବ-ଅନ୍ୱେଷୀ)ମାନେ ତୁମକୁ ଆମଠାରୁ ରୋକି ନ ରଖନ୍ତୁ।
