Sukta 1.63
त्वं ह त्यदिन्द्र चोदीः सखा वृत्रं यद्वज्रिन्वृषकर्मन्नुभ्नाः । यद्ध शूर वृषमणः पराचैर्वि दस्यूँर्योनावकृतो वृथाषाट् ॥
tváṃ ha tyád indra codī́ḥ sákhā vṛtráṃ yád vajrin vṛṣa-karman ubhnā́ḥ | yád dha śūra vṛṣa-maṇaḥ parācáir ví dasyū́ṃr yónāv ákṛto vṛthāṣā́ṭ ||
ହେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର, ତୁମେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଉତ୍ପ୍ରେରକ ହେଲ; ହେ ବଜ୍ରଧାରୀ, ମହାକର୍ମା, ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମେ ବୃତ୍ରକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରି ପତିତ କଲ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ ସହଚର-ଶକ୍ତି ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହେଲା। ହେ ଶୂର, ବଳର ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ପ୍ରବଳ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମେ ଦସ୍ୟୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିଟାଇ ଦୂରେ ହଂକାଇଲ ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ଧକାରର ଗର୍ଭରେ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କଲ—ଅସତ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ବିଜୟୀ ହୋଇ।
