वातांबुपर्णाशनदेहशोषणैस्तपोभिरुग्रैश्चिरकालसंचितैः । योगैश्च संयांति नरास्तु यां गतिं स्नानात्प्रयागस्य हि यांति तां गतिम् ॥ ३९ ॥
vātāṃbuparṇāśanadehaśoṣaṇaistapobhirugraiścirakālasaṃcitaiḥ | yogaiśca saṃyāṃti narāstu yāṃ gatiṃ snānātprayāgasya hi yāṃti tāṃ gatim || 39 ||
ବାୟୁ, ଜଳ ଓ ପତ୍ର ଆହାର କରି ଦେହକୁ ଶୋଷାଇ, ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ସଞ୍ଚିତ ଉଗ୍ର ତପ ଓ ଯୋଗସାଧନାରେ ଲୋକେ ଯେ ପରମ ଗତି ପାଆନ୍ତି—ସେଇ ଗତିକୁ ପ୍ରୟାଗରେ କେବଳ ସ୍ନାନମାତ୍ରେ ହିଁ ପାଆନ୍ତି।

It declares the extraordinary merit of Prayāga: the liberating spiritual result that normally requires long, severe tapas and yogic discipline is said to be attained through a single sacred bath there.
By elevating tīrtha-snānā (a devotional act performed with faith) as equal to arduous self-mortification, the verse supports the Purāṇic bhakti principle that grace-filled sacred practices can grant the highest goal when done with श्रद्धा (śraddhā).
Ritual practice (kalpa-oriented purity discipline) is implied: tīrtha-snānā as a prescribed act with specific place-based efficacy; no technical focus on vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa is explicit in this verse.
