Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Vedanga/ritual-technical context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames bodily health as a dharmic support for sādhana—conquering disease and attaining a full lifespan is presented as the fruit of properly applied sacred procedure and purity.
While the verse is technical, it supports bhakti indirectly: maintaining health through prescribed sacred materials (like sandalwood and saffron used in worship) helps sustain regular worship, japa, and vrata observance.
Prayoga-style ritual detailing—precise specification of substances and proportions (pādas/quarters) reflects applied kalpa/ritual procedure and traditional medicinal-sacral use of fragrant dravyas.
