Narada (instruction within Vedanga-oriented teachings; dhyana for success in vidya)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It prescribes guru-smṛti (recollection/meditation on the primordial teacher Vyāsa) as a means to siddhi—success in sacred learning and inner steadiness—linking knowledge to purity, serenity, and yogic composure.
Though framed as a vidyā-oriented dhyāna, it reflects bhakti through reverent remembrance of Vyāsa as a holy, radiant teacher; devotion to the guru and the tradition becomes a supportive limb for progress in dharma and spiritual study.
It highlights the practical discipline behind Vedāṅga study: concentrating the mind (dhyāna), honoring the transmitter of śāstra (Vyāsa), and seeking vidyā-siddhi—useful for rigorous fields like Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, and other technical sciences.
