Narada (teaching ritual-technical procedure, in the Vedanga/ritual-science context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes ritual purity and intentionality: the act (lighting a lamp) becomes spiritually effective when performed on purified ground and when the mantra-syllables are consciously linked to the intended deity or goal (sādhya).
Bhakti here is expressed through disciplined upāsanā—offering light with a focused mind, using the deity’s name (sādhya-nāma) within the mantra structure, so the offering becomes a directed act of worship rather than a mere external gesture.
It reflects mantra-application principles: careful use of varṇas (syllables/phonemes) and correct incorporation of the sādhya’s name—an applied, technical approach aligned with śikṣā (phonetics) and ritual procedure.
