गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā

कपिल उवाच । ये तु नाशमिहेच्छंतिं यशोबलधनायुषाम् । त एव लोकान्बाधन्ते नात्राश्चर्यं सुरोत्तमाः ॥ ८५ ॥

kapila uvāca | ye tu nāśamihecchaṃtiṃ yaśobaladhanāyuṣām | ta eva lokānbādhante nātrāścaryaṃ surottamāḥ || 85 ||

କପିଳ କହିଲେ—ଏହି ଲୋକରେ ଯଶ, ବଳ, ଧନ ଓ ଆୟୁଷ୍ୟର ନାଶ ଯେମାନେ ଇଚ୍ଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ହିଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଧା ଦିଅନ୍ତି; ଏଥିରେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କିଛି ନାହିଁ, ହେ ଦେବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠମାନେ।
