गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
तदग्नितापिताः सर्वे दन्दशूकाश्च राक्षसाः । सागरं विविशुः शीघ्रं सतां कोपो हि दुःसहः ॥ ११२ ॥
tadagnitāpitāḥ sarve dandaśūkāśca rākṣasāḥ | sāgaraṃ viviśuḥ śīghraṃ satāṃ kopo hi duḥsahaḥ || 112 ||
ସେଇ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହୋଇ ସମସ୍ତ ଦଂଶଧାରୀ ସର୍ପ ଓ ରାକ୍ଷସ ଶୀଘ୍ର ସାଗରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ; କାରଣ ସତ୍ଜନଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଦୁଃସହ।
