Varṇāśrama-ācāra: Common Virtues, Varṇa Duties, and the Four Āśramas
चत्वार आश्रमाः प्रोक्ताः पंचमो नोपपद्यते । ब्रह्मचारी गृही वानप्रस्थो भिक्षुश्च सत्तम ॥ ३३ ॥
catvāra āśramāḥ proktāḥ paṃcamo nopapadyate | brahmacārī gṛhī vānaprastho bhikṣuśca sattama || 33 ||
ଚାରିଟି ଆଶ୍ରମ ମାତ୍ର କୁହାଯାଇଛି; ପଞ୍ଚମଟି ଯଥାଯଥ ନୁହେଁ। ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ—ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚାରୀ, ଗୃହୀ, ବାନପ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଓ ଭିକ୍ଷୁ (ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସୀ), ହେ ସତ୍ତମ।
