जातिस्मृतिप्रभावेण तज्ज्ञातं सांप्रतं मया । अत्र स्वेनापि यत्कर्म कृतं तस्य फलं त्विदम् ॥ ९३ ॥
jātismṛtiprabhāveṇa tajjñātaṃ sāṃprataṃ mayā | atra svenāpi yatkarma kṛtaṃ tasya phalaṃ tvidam || 93 ||
ପୂର୍ବଜନ୍ମ ସ୍ମୃତିର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଏହା ଏବେ ମୋତେ ଜଣା ପଡ଼ିଲା। ଏହି ଜନ୍ମରେ ମୁଁ କରିଥିବା କର୍ମର ଫଳ ଏହିଟି।

It emphasizes personal responsibility: one’s present experience is the maturation (phala) of one’s own karma, and deeper insight can arise through jātismṛti (past-birth recollection), strengthening vairāgya and discernment.
While the verse speaks directly about karmaphala, it supports Bhakti indirectly by showing why surrender and devotion are needed: recognizing karma’s binding force motivates turning to Vishnu-bhakti as a purifying, liberating orientation beyond mere reaction to results.
A practical takeaway is the karmic logic used in Dharma-śāstra reasoning: actions (karma) inevitably yield results (phala). This aligns with disciplined ritual/ethical conduct (kalpa-dharma) rather than a specific technical Vedanga like Jyotiṣa or Vyākaraṇa.
