सनक उवाच । अन्यद्व्रतं प्रवक्ष्यामि श्रृणु नारद तत्त्वतः । दुर्लभं सर्वलोकेषु विख्यातं हरिपञ्चकम् ॥ १ ॥

ସନକ କହିଲେ: ଏବେ ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ବ୍ରତ କହିବି; ହେ ନାରଦ, ତତ୍ତ୍ୱତଃ ଶୁଣ। ଏହା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକରେ ଦୁର୍ଲଭ ଏବଂ ‘ହରିପଞ୍ଚକ’ ନାମେ ବିଖ୍ୟାତ।
