FAQs

The verse praises the Lord as a compassionate refuge-giver: because Īśāna accepted the Moon when he sought protection, devotees are urged to worship Him through hymns, trusting in His grace and benevolence.

It presents bhakti as stuti (praise) and ārādhana (devotional worship): remembering the Lord’s protective act and responding with heartfelt hymns is shown as a direct, accessible devotional practice that yields sukha (well-being).

The practical takeaway is the disciplined use of stotra recitation—clear pronunciation and meter (linked with Śikṣā and Chandas) support effective hymn-based worship, even though no technical Vedanga is explicitly taught in this single verse.
