Narada (teaching in a dharma-upadesha context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches the phala (karmic fruit) doctrine: specific acts of dāna generate specific merits—gaja-dāna is praised as highly efficacious for fulfilling aims, while yāna-dāna is said to lead to svarga with a celestial conveyance.
While not explicitly naming bhakti, it supports bhakti-informed dharma: offerings made in a spirit of reverence and righteousness become purifying and merit-producing, preparing the giver for higher states (like svarga) that can support further devotion and spiritual progress.
It reflects ritual ethics and karmaphala reasoning used in dharma instruction—how prescribed acts (like dāna) are linked to results—rather than a technical Vedanga lesson; practically, it underscores correct charitable practice as part of dharmic life.
