tāsu durgākathātyaṃtaṃ puṇyadā cāṣṭameṃ'tare | tatpaścātpraṇavotpattistrayītejaḥ samudbhavā || 9 ||

ସେସବୁ ବିଷୟମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଷ୍ଟମ ଭାଗରେ ଦୁର୍ଗାକଥା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୁଣ୍ୟଦାୟିନୀ। ତାପରେ ପ୍ରଣବ (ଓଁ) ର ଉତ୍ପତ୍ତି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣିତ—ବେଦତ୍ରୟର ତେଜରୁ ଉଦ୍ଭୂତ॥
