dānaṃ pradattametasyāmanaṃtaphalamucyate | ūrjjaśukladvitīyāyāṃ yamo yamunayā purā || 18 ||

Translation

ଏହି ଦିନ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ଦାନ ଅନନ୍ତ ଫଳଦାୟକ ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ। ଊର୍ଜ (କାର୍ତ୍ତିକ) ଶୁକ୍ଲ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟାରେ ପୁରାତନେ ଯମଙ୍କର ଯମୁନା ସହ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ଥିଲା।
