jagāmeṣṭaṃ tadā divyaṃ svapuraṃ prayayau ca sā dṛṣṭvā hṛṣṭastadā devīṃ menayā tuhinācalaḥ
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It highlights the auspicious power of Devi’s darśana: her presence brings immediate joy and sanctity, reinforcing that Shiva-linga worship is fulfilled through reverence to Shiva together with Shakti, the inseparable divine power.
By showing the Goddess returning to her divine abode and being welcomed with joy, the verse implies the Shaiva Siddhanta view that Pati (Shiva) is never without Shakti—her movement and manifestation are the dynamic expression of Shiva-tattva in the world.
The key takeaway is darśana-bhakti: receiving the Goddess with reverence. While no explicit puja-vidhi is stated, it supports the Shaiva practice of honoring Shakti alongside Shiva in linga-puja as a means to loosen pasha (bondage) upon the pashu (soul).
