दक्षिणाप्रवणं स्निग्धं विभक्तं शुभलक्षणम् / शुचिं देशं विविक्तं च गोमयेनोपलेपयेत्

dakṣiṇāpravaṇaṃ snigdhaṃ vibhaktaṃ śubhalakṣaṇam / śuciṃ deśaṃ viviktaṃ ca gomayenopalepayet

ଦକ୍ଷିଣକୁ ହାଲୁକା ଢାଳ ଥିବା, ମସୃଣ, ପୃଥକ୍ କରାଯାଇଥିବା, ଶୁଭଲକ୍ଷଣଯୁକ୍ତ, ଶୁଚି ଓ ନିର୍ଜନ ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି, ସେ ଭୂମିକୁ ଗୋମୟରେ ଲେପନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
