इन्द्राणीमासु नारिषु सुभगामहमश्रवम्। नह्यऽस्या अपरं चन जरसा मरते पतिर्विश्वस्मादिन्द्र उत्तरः

IAST Transliteration

indrā́ṇīm ā́su nā́riṣu subhágām ahám aśravam | ná hy ásyā áparaṃ cána járasā́ márate pátir víśvasmā́d índra úttaraḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Indrāṇī, among these women, as fortunate have I heard proclaimed: for of her the husband dies not, not even by age—above all, Indra is the higher.

Translation

ଏହି ନାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରାଣୀକୁ ମୁଁ ‘ସୁଭଗା’ (ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟବତୀ) ବୋଲି ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଶୁଣିଛି। କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କର ପତି ଜରାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମରେ ନାହିଁ—ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର ଉଚ୍ଚ।
