Verse 32

Brahmavidya

श्रुत्या यदुक्तं परमार्थमेव तत्संशयो नात्र ततः समस्तम् । श्रुत्या विरोधे न भवेत्प्रमाणं भवेदनर्थाय विना प्रमाणम् ॥३२॥

श्रुत्या यत् उक्तम् परमार्थम् एव तत् संशयः न अत्र ततः समस्तम् । श्रुत्या विरोधे न भवेत् प्रमाणम् भवेत् अनर्थाय विना प्रमाणम् ।

śrutyā yad uktaṃ paramārtham eva tat saṃśayo nātra tataḥ samastam | śrutyā virodhe na bhavet pramāṇaṃ bhaved anarthāya vinā pramāṇam ||32||

သြတိက ပြောထားသမျှသည် ပရမာရ္ထ—အမြင့်ဆုံး သစ္စာတရားပင် ဖြစ်သည်; ဤအပေါ် သံသယမရှိ—ထို့ကြောင့် အလုံးစုံ လက်ခံပါ။ သြတိနှင့် ဆန့်ကျင်လျှင် မှန်ကန်သော ပရမာဏ (သိမြင်မှု၏ အထောက်အထား) မရှိနိုင်; ပရမာဏမရှိလျှင် အမှားယွင်းမှုနှင့် အနရ္ထ (ဒုက္ခ) သို့ ဦးတည်စေသည်။

What is stated by the Śruti is indeed the highest truth; there is no doubt about that—therefore (accept) it wholly. In contradiction to the Śruti, there would be no valid means of knowledge; without a means of knowledge, it would lead to misfortune (error).
