kautsa uvāca | rājannabhyudayaste'stu gacchāmyanyatra sāṃpratam
Kautsa
Tirtha: Ayodhyā
Type: kshetra
Scene: Kautsa stands poised to depart, right hand raised slightly in blessing; Raghu remains attentive, hands folded, the court quiet and respectful.
A dharmic person departs without bitterness, offering blessings even when personal aims remain unmet.
Ayodhyā is the narrative setting; its glory is conveyed through the refined conduct of both king and sage.
No direct ritual is prescribed; the verse concludes a moment in the guru-dakṣiṇā episode with a benediction and departure.
