mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | mathurā dvārakā'yodhyā kalikāle purītrayam | dharmārthakāmadaṃ bhūpa mokṣadaṃ harivallabham

မာရ္ကဏ္ဍေယ မိန့်တော်မူသည်။ ကလိယုဂ၌ မထူရာ၊ ဒွာရကာ၊ အယောဓျာ ဟူသော မြို့ကြီးသုံးမြို့ရှိ၏။ အို မင်းကြီး၊ ထိုမြို့တို့သည် ဓမ္မ၊ အဓ္ဓ၊ ကာမ ကိုပေးကာ ဟရီ၏ချစ်မြတ်နိုးရာဖြစ်သဖြင့် မောက္ခကိုလည်း ပေးတတ်၏။
